Why verify your IBAN
To request a payment at Fortuna Casino, your IBAN must be verified and linked to your account. In 2026 the casino introduced a faster way for Belgian IBANs: you verify the account directly through your bank environment, with the service TrueLayer, in a few minutes. Before this, the step was manual and could take a few days. The check confirms the bank account that receives your winnings, and it prepares your account for the withdrawal route and for Instant Payout.
Identity verification and IBAN verification do two different jobs. The first confirms who you are, the second confirms where your payments go. Once both are in place, your account is ready for payouts. The identity verification page covers the player check.
Verify your IBAN in six steps
- Sign in to your Fortuna account, open the menu and choose My Account.
- In the Bank Account Number section, choose the option to use a new bank account and click Add your bank account number.
- Choose direct verification.
- Select your bank from the list.
- Log in to your bank’s secure environment and give TrueLayer permission to verify the information.
- Return to Fortuna. Your IBAN is confirmed and you can request your payment.
The process is quick, simple and secure. Read the consent screen of your bank, which shows what is being shared, then approve. If a page looks unfamiliar, close the page and start again from fortunacasino.be.
Good to know
Direct verification is available for Belgian IBANs, and the list of participating banks grows over time. If your bank is not in the list yet, manual verification stays available, and you find it in the same place as before. The February 2026 security step also applies when you add a bank account: your account shows the status Pending while the team checks the documents, and a confirmation e-mail follows when your bank account is ready for withdrawals.
For a first IBAN, a photo of your bank card with your name and account number clearly visible, or your bank details, completes the check. For an extra IBAN, add a selfie in which you and your identity document are clearly visible. Upload the documents in the secure area of your account.
Direct verification and payment speed
Verification and payout speed go hand in hand. A verified IBAN opens the standard withdrawal route, with a minimum of €15 to a Belgian account and processing within five working days, and it prepares the account for Instant Payout, which sends eligible requests to your bank within minutes. Before you start
Have your phone or card reader for your online banking ready, sign in to your Fortuna account on the same device and keep the bank account in your own name in mind, because the account is personal and so is the IBAN. Complete the ID check first, because deposits and withdrawals open once the casino has validated your account. The whole flow takes a few minutes, and the casino sends a confirmation e-mail when the bank account is ready.
Quick answers
How long does direct verification take? A few minutes, compared with a few days for the earlier manual check. Which banks work? Belgian banks from the list shown at the verification step, and the list is extended over time. Can I add a second IBAN? Yes. An extra IBAN needs the bank card photo or bank details plus a selfie with your identity document. Where do I find the section? In the menu under My Account, and in the side menu behind your account icon, where your profile and IBAN sit together. Does direct verification cost anything? The casino charges no commission on withdrawals, and your bank applies its own conditions to your account.
Track your verification
Note the date you started, the bank you selected and the status shown in My Account. Pending means the team is checking. If you need help, open the Support tab and name the topic as IBAN verification, together with the date and the bank. The support page lists what to include.
